Methods: A dermal irritation study of the product Ion Gel ZCM-25 as a daily dose of 0.5 ml over 6 cm x 6 cm (32.0 sq cm) administered each day for 3 days on the skin of New Zealand male rabbits. The dose used was 5 times higher than human dosing as described in the current user manual for humans use.
Results: Non-irritant, average values of skin irritation <1.5.
Conclusions: In the present study, the sample of the product Ion Gel ZCM-25 is considered a Non-irritant according to the GHS system. The average values of dermal irritation were lower than 1.5 for all 3 test animals.
